Indian Inventions which are Known in the name of Foreign Scientists

I am just noting down few discoveries by Indian Maharshis and Scientists had invented long back, the scientists who are known behind the discoveries.

• Theorem of evolution - Pathanjali Maharshi
• Zero - By Pingalacharya in his book Chandhashasta written during 300BC
• Pythagoras Theoram - Bhoudhayanana Maharshi, 400 years before Pythagoras
• Squire/Cube root - Squire root and Cube root are described by Aryabhatta.
• The positional value - Its not Arabians, but we described the positional value of numbers
• Spherical Shapes of Earth - Aaryabhatta in 499AD
• Diameter of earth - Aaryabhatta
• Description about earth’s rotation - Aaryabhatta
• The speed of earths rotation - Aaryabhatta
• Gravity of earth and all other planetary objects - Bhaskaracharya 2 in 1148AD
• Blood Circulation - Charaka Maharshi
• Atom - Pathanjali Maharshi
• Wave form of sound - Pathanjali Maharshi

I think this will be a good post on the anniversary day of our Independence. Our great ancient scientists had written thousands of explanation about many problems in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Biology and Management. Today we are learning all these as discovered by some foreign scientists.

We should be prod to know that when Newton was thinking about why the apple is fell down, our forefathers had already answered this question.
